Should you accept the 4 year Contract?
Terms of the Contract:
  • You give up career status
  • $500 bonus per year ($500, $1000, $1500, $2000)
  • This is a one time offer
  • Not a permanent pay raise
Selection Process:
  • You must be proficient in all Standards
  • Be employed for 3 years in the district
  • Teachers, Central Office Staff and Support Staff
  • Evaluations and performance scores will be submited to School Board for approval

Funding:

  •  Only the first $500 has been funded
  •  The money would have to be secured over 3 legislative cycles
  • There is no garuantee this will continue
  • The $40 million budgeted may not cover the cost
  • Funding is returned if not used.
